Core Story

Core stories are the narrative at the heart of everything.

Your life, your friendships, your brand. We all have a lot of different stories that make up the fabric of our lives, but there are a special few that are central to who you are.

You may have heard marketers talk about brand stories before, and they are almost the same. The difference is, core stories are more than the colorful graphics and branding script that parse out your mission statement into a bite-sized paragraph.

Core stories connect.

Core Story Archetypes

There are countless iterations of what your story could be, but there are some common recurring archetypes.

Without giving too much away, I cover 5 different archetypal core stories including: inspiring mentor, rags to riches, and losing everything in many different iterations.

Why Do You Need A Core Story?

I’ll be diving more deeply into what a core story is and why we all need one in the months to come.

In the meantime, remember we are always telling a story. To ourselves and those around us.

What you wear, how you act, the way you connect with others, these are all threads of the tapestry that is the story of your life.Pay attention, pick your intention and sign up for my free Substack, Core Connected Marketing, to stay updated on all things core story aaaaand get my free 5-Day Email Course on Core Story Archetypes. 🙂 💃💃💃💃💃💃
